The establishments of call centers have given a new look to the different business houses. They are employing the young individuals who are enthusiastic and have right attitude towards their job. But it is also a kind of exploitation of these young talented individuals. The biggest development of call centers is mainly occurring in India and China and all the third world countries which are under the burden of unemployment. In these countries, there are huge numbers of skilled, talented but inexperienced young individuals who are searching for a job.
The call centers provide them with good jobs. But are they really getting the salary that they ought to get? Instead they are forced to work for a substantial period of time- in some cases even 24/7! They have good communication skills, but under the pressure of their service they gradually begin to lose all other skills, thereby making themselves, stagnant. This would be a truly frustrating situation and hence, before joining call centers, every individual must review his own qualities and ask himself “Am I limited to this job?” However this may be desirable but not attainable for many individuals, because the pressure of earning for their family often exceeds their personal liking and disliking for the job. This is how most youngsters get involved in these services which does not guarantee them any potential development in future.
